The 31st Annual Rhinoceros Theater Festival (Rhino Fest) begins on Saturday, January 11, 2020 with the Full Moon Vaudeville, a variety showcase including music, spoken word, and excerpts from plays in production at the Rhino. After that, regular shows begin on Friday, January 17 and continue through Sunday, February 23. There are shows every day of the week except Tuesday, and all performances take place at Prop Thtr, 3502 N. Elston Avenue, in Chicago's Avondale neighborhood. The venue is wheelchair accessible, reachable by the Addison and Belmont buses or the blue line (Belmont or Addison stop), and there is free parking on Elston and side streets. Now his wife is running for governor of Oregon and her campaign is using up most of their disposable income, so when Preston falls in love with The Shady Lady, a yacht far outside his price range, he uses the nonprofit’s money to buy it, unbeknownst to his staff. Now Ronan Farrow is coming by the office at noon for an interview, and Preston and his staff must scramble to cover up the evidence of his embezzlement before Ronan Farrow exposes them and they all end up in federal prison. This will be followed by the world premiere of Hauptschein’s CAST, the epic new play that is guaranteed to take your imagination by storm.
